A SUPPORTIVE COMMUNICATION PARTNER

HI,
A BIG HELLO FROM ME AGAIN

Simple tips while communicating a child with  beautiful, amazing AUTISM
-Get childs attention by calling the name
-Prepare the child on the topic may be you can use visuals
-Donot  insist on eye contact( It can cause for them"interaction confusing and cause comprahension difficulties". an autistic person said" I can listen better to the tone of someone`s voice  when i am not confused by the unwritten words of their facial expressions".
- Its ok to use peripheral vision( they are very comfortble using peripheral vision, gazing directly@ peoples eye is "overwhelming" for them
- When you are comunicating or talking to them  consider your voice and tone, one variation in voice that seems unusally helpful is WHISPERING( It can be used  for calming and conversing information with our children, i sware it honestly works with most of our kids)
Children can be calmed by reassuring words shared in a hushed tone.
- experiment with indirect communication what i mean is smiling @ shadow, use singing as a mode of communication
-Use visuals for understanding abstract aspects of language

Thats all cheers
